All things, made well

Nothing here is stamped out. Every piece is cut from wool we pick by the yard, sewn on a Singer, and finished by hand.

Camp Pillows

Heavy wool plaids and tweeds — rust, moss, heather, ember. Closed with a leather loop dropped over a wood barrel button.

Grain-Sack Pillows

Ticking and linen in indigo and wheat stripes on natural ground, made square or as a long lumbar. Closed the same way — a leather loop dropped over a wood barrel button — for a quieter room.

How It's Made

On a porch, on a Singer, one at a time

Wool gets chosen by hand and by feel. Every cover is sewn on a home machine, turned, stuffed and pressed, then tagged by hand.

Every pillow closes the same way: a wood barrel button, and a leather loop that drops over it. Square or lumbar, plaid or ticking — same closure, every time.
